New Fueling Station: Harris County Board of Education

February 13, 2018:  United Pump and Controls, Inc. has been selected to construct a new fueling facility featuring three islands, with both On-Road Diesel Fuel and Unleaded Gasoline for the growing Harris County Schools fleet.  The new facility will feature Modern Welding Company Glassteel II underground storage tanks: one 20,000 gallon tank for On-Road Diesel fuel, and one 10,000 gallon tank for Unleaded Gasoline; three new Bennett commercial electronic fuel dispensers; Fuelmaster fuel management system, OPW FlexWorks underground piping; Overhead canopy with Cree LED lighting, and Veeder-Root tank gauging system. After the new system has been installed and commissioned, United will decommission the existing fueling station and remove the underground components.  This project is scheduled to break ground on May 7, 2018.
